PENNSVILLE, NEW JERSEY – FEBRUARY 27, 2023 – Effective March 1, Pennsville National Bank will once again distribute “good deeds” ($5.00) coupons to local police and school administrators to recognize acts of kindness throughout Salem County.

“We introduced this idea to local law enforcement and the Pedricktown school administration last year, as a way to reinforce all the positive things that are happening in our community.  We had a wonderful response, and will be continuing the program in 2023” says Pennsville National Bank President, William Masten.  “We heard stories of community members helping with homelessness, assisting with flat tires, helping with the elderly and showing respect and positivity on the playground.  We are proud to be a part of reinforcing those behaviors.”

$500 in coupons will be given to each of the local police departments who serve towns with Pennsville National Bank branch locations: Pennsville, Woodstown, Carneys Point, Penns Grove and Elmer police departments, along with the Pedricktown school administration.

All recipients of the coupons must redeem them at any Pennsville National Bank location for cash.  There is no catch.  The person receiving the coupon does not have to be a PNB customer. We will only ask for recipient’s name when redeeming, but no other information is required.  All coupons must be turned in by December 31, 2023.

Pennsville National Bank created this program in 2022 as a way to highlight the good things that people in our community do every day.  Having the local police and school administration taking the lead in passing out the coupons at their discretion makes this program especially impactful in building trust in authority in our community.Five dollar certificates
